Design

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro sports a captivating design better than its predecessor. It is beautifully structured with sleek, shining, and slim finishing, made of an aluminum frame and back with glass front. Hence we have a premium-looking device. This device also sports smooth and curved glass edges on both front and back contribute to a sleek, elegant-looking device with thin bezels and minimal rails.

 On the front is the large 6.76-inch screen with a sizable punch hole in the top left-hand corner, one that houses the selfie cam and the ToF bits for 3D face recognition. Display

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is equipped with a 6.76-inch OLED display. It offers a resolution of 1344 x 2772 pixels, which is even weirder than the P40 Pro’s 1200 x 2640px, thus, resulting in 456ppi of pixel density. 

This smartphone also supports a 90Hz refresh rate, the same as the P40 Pro and P40 Pro+. That can be set to Standard (60Hz), Ultra (90Hz), or Dynamic, which should adjust it based on content. This one has the same f/2.2 aperture and 25mm focal length equivalent, but there’s one notable downgrade – autofocus is missing. Furthermore, the front camera has a regular and ultra-wide mode and it also managed to capture some impressive selfies. With tetra cell binning, Samsung manages to capture more light for better details and dynamic range.

PERFORMANCE

The S20 FE is available in two versions – 4G and 5G. These differ from each other by the processor used. The 4G (LTE) version will be available with the Exynos 990 processor, while the 5G version will get the slightly more powerful Snapdragon 865. The RAM size is the same as 6 GB or 8 GB. Galaxy S20 FE internal storage has a capacity of 128 GB or 256 GB and can be expanded with a microSD card with a capacity of up to 1 TB. The memory card slot is shared with another SIM card. So you have to choose between dual-SIM mode and additional storage, because the S20 FE does not support eSIM.

How To Refill hp Ink Cartridges

Obviously, HP Printer Cartridges are surprisingly costly. As an alternative, you can get it refilled at a store. The cheapest and effective alternative though is to refill it yourself. All it takes is a bottle of printer-ink and a syringe.

These days, ink manufacturers now produce some printers that come with ink tanks you’re supposed to refill yourself. Such models include the Epson Ecotank and Canon Megatank range. While their ink costs can work out well in the long run, these printers tend to be pricier to buy initially.

Our steps below, however, are for refilling regular ink cartridges. This can work out as a far better value than replacing the cartridges with new sets.

Step-by-step: How To Refill Your Ink Cartridges

1. Prepare your work area

If you’ve ever had to put an ink-stained garment through the washing machine you’ll know how stubborn the stains can be. Ink can do the same thing to a table so don’t refill your ink on your antique furniture.

Wherever you’ve decided to do the refilling, put some paper towels down to absorb any spills, pop on some plastic gloves, and don’t wear your Sunday best.

2. Make a hole in your cartridge

Most cartridges keep their ink in small reservoirs inside the plastic shell. To gain access you need to make a small hole at the top of the cartridge – the top side will have a sticky label on it. Peel the sticker back and make a small hole in the top half of the revealed surface with the drill bit that comes with your kit.

You may find some cartridges, HP ones in particular, already have a hole in them, in which case you don’t need to make another one. Refer to the video to see which hole to use.

3. Inject your ink

Once you’ve made your opening it’s time to inject some ink. Before you start playing doctor with your plastic patient, make sure your hole is in the right place – if your syringe moves freely or you can suck out some ink you’re in the right spot. Some cartridges hold the ink in sponges, in which case you’ll feel some slight resistance when you wiggle your syringe.

Next, take some ink from the bottle and inject it slowly into the cartridge. If at any point you see the ink start to bubble out of the hole the cartridge is either full or has some air in it.

To check, remove some of the contents from the cartridge – if there’s air in what comes out you know you need to add more ink. Otherwise, congratulations, your cartridge is full.

4. Plug the hole

Some kits come with plastic stoppers that fit neatly into the hole you’ve made, but you can also cover the hole with tape. It’s not essential to plug the hole since most cartridges sit in the printer with the label side facing up – just be careful not to turn it upside down.

5. Clean the print-head and try it out

The printer head is where the ink meets the paper and if it isn’t clean your prints will look smudged and uneven. To check it’s clean dab the printer head with a cloth and make sure the mark the head leaves is a neat rectangle.

To make doubly sure everything is well with your printer, print a test page. If you can see smudging or blots of ink remove your cartridge and wipe the head again. You may also need to draw out some of the ink if it’s too full.

Don’t worry about overfilling since you can always put the excess back in the bottle.

How To Refill Hp 63 Or 123 Cartridge

Using a needle, you have to run it across the top of the cartridge on the manufacturer’s label and locate refill holes. Once you locate the refill holes (see diagram below), carefully pierce through the label. Please try to locate the holes WITHOUT REMOVING the manufacturer’s label, as it is much easier to refill.

Attach the needle to the syringe and load the syringe with the correct color ink.  You cannot overfill the regular cartridges.  They have different configurations inside. Rather, insert the needle into the correct refill hole. You should feel the sponge.  Press down on the sponge and start injecting ink. 

Then SLOWLY inject the ink into the cartridge. Stop if the ink begins to well up from the fill hole. Clean off the top of the cartridge. Place a piece of Scotch transparent tape on the hole (optional).

Reinstall in the printer and run one or two cleaning cycles until the cartridge begins to print correctly. Do not exceed three cleaning cycles. If the cartridge is not printing correctly, the refill process may introduce air bubbles on the bottom of the cartridge. Let the cartridge sit in the printer overnight and the bubbles will be gone.

The printer may complain about “low ink” or “ink depleted.” You can hit “OK” or “Yes” to dismiss those warnings and keep printing.  The printer will not track the ink level after refill.  Keep an eye on the print quality.  Refill as needed.

Above all, if the error message is “cartridge cannot be found”, “cartridge must be replaced,” take the cartridge out.  Clean the contact ribbon and re-insert the cartridge. If the error won’t go away, the cartridge is damaged and needs to be replaced.

Note, some color ink refill kits are universal, meaning they are intended to work for all inkjet printer brands. Others are manufacturer or model-specific.

After refilling, if necessary leave cartridge in printer for up to 8 hours. The cartridge will print just like a new one. Even though the cartridge prints good, the ink level gauge will not read full after a refill. To reset the ink level gauge back to full follow these instructions:
This will allow you to reset the ID system & Ink Level Indicator built into the printer.

RESETTING

  1. Remove the cartridge from your printer.
  2. Place a piece of tape over the top left contact as shown in red on the picture to the right.
  3. With the tape covering the contact place cartridge back into the printer.
  4. The printer will perform and alignment page.
  5. Once an alignment page has been printed remove the cartridge from the printer.
  6. Place a piece of tape over the second contact shown in blue.
  7. Place cartridge into printer with both pieces of tape. (One covering the first contact and one cover the second contact.)
  8. The printer will print another alignment page.
  9. Once the second alignment page has been printed remove the cartridge from the printer.
  10. Remove tape pieces from cartridge contacts (Make sure there is no residual adhesive on cartridge contacts.)
  11. Place cartridge into the printer. The cartridge should now read full.

Most printer companies advise against refilling your own printer ink. Instead, they recommend that you purchase new cartridges from them directly. Refilling your own cartridges may void your ability to receive tech support from the printer manufacturer, so refill at your own risk.

Apple has finally unveiled a new iPhone 12 mini during a virtual online event on October 13. It’s the first time Apple has named its iPhone “mini”. This phone was released alongside the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro and all feature 5G connectivity, a magnetic backing branded as MagSafe that can attach to a number of accessories, and a new ceramic display that promises to be more durable.

Apple claims the iPhone 12 mini is the smallest, thinnest, and lightest 5G phone in the world. This device takes design to a new level in a new form factor that’s as beautiful as it is durable and makes it easier than ever for customers to find the perfect iPhone to fit their lifestyle.

The Apple iPhone 12 mini is re-architected to pack all the technology of iPhone 12 into a delightfully compact size, while still delivering an impressively large and immersive edge-to-edge display. Both models feature a sleek new flat-edge design with an aerospace-grade aluminum enclosure and combined with the Ceramic Shield front cover, which goes beyond glass by adding a new high-temperature crystallization step that grows nano-ceramic crystals within the glass matrix, increases drop performance by 4x.

This phone has flat aluminum sides with a matte finish and sharper edges that transition to the glass front and back.  It measures a dimension of 64.2 x 131.5 x 7.4mm, and it weighs 133g. It comes with smaller bezels around the entirety of the screen, though the top-notch still houses the front-facing camera, and instead of a Touch ID Apple has replaced it with Face ID tech. The design is complemented by a range of new colors in black, blue, green, white, and red.

Display

The iPhone 12 mini features a 5.4-inch display with a resolution of 2430 x 1080 resulting to 476 pixels per inch. This displays offer HDR support with 1200 nits peak brightness, Wide Color for vivid, true-to-life colors, Haptic Touch for feedback, and True Tone to match the color temperature of the display to the ambient lighting for a more natural viewing experience.

The Apple iPhone is built on Super Retina XDR OLED display panel which is thinner, more power efficient and has greater contrast levels. According to Apple new panel is four times more break resistant than Gorilla Glass. The iPhones support HDR video formats, as well as Dolby Vision. It has standard features including portrait mode with depth control, sapphire crystal lens covers, 100% focus pixels, night mode, panorama, and OIS. Advanced features which include Smart HDR 3, to brings out more detail and better adjusts for color, contrast, and noise. Deep Fusion and computational photography help blend images to generate the ultimate in contrast.

The Apple iPhone 12 mini also offers a 12-megapixel selfie camera, a TrueDepth camera which enables the Face ID facial recognition biometric authentication feature instead of the touch ID. The selfie camera now supports Smart HDR 3, Deep Fusion, Night mode, and Night mode Portrait shots.

Performance

This latest iPhones are powered by new A14 Bionic chip, which the company boasts is the “fastest in any smartphone.” It features 70% faster machine learning accelerators. The A14 chip is the first chip in the smartphone industry built on a 5-nanometer process for performance and efficiency improvements. 

Apple says the 6-core CPU and 4-core GPU in the A14 are 50 percent faster than the fastest competing smartphone chips. The A14 chip includes a 16-core Neural Engine that offers an 80 percent increase in performance for machine learning tasks.

The iPhone 12 mnini alongside other iPhone 12 models offer 5G connectivity, which is a first for Apple but a feature found on most Android phones over $500. Apple chose to include both the widespread Sub-6 5G and lesser-used mmWave 5G radios to its phones, ensuring wider compatibility, particularly in the U.S. Verizon uses mmWave exclusively, while AT&T and T-Mobile are primarily based on Sub-6 and are slowly adding mmWave. Battery

For battery life, the iPhone 12 mini offers up to 15 hours of video playback, 10 hours of streaming video playback, or 50 hours of audio playback. These phone offer a fast charging technology, which provides a 50 percent charge in 30 minutes using a 20W power adapter.

Apple also introduced MagSafe accessories designed to work with a ring of magnets built into the back of the iPhones. There’s a MagSafe charger, MagSafe iPhone cases, and wallet accessories. MagSafe supports 15W wireless charging, an upgrade over the 7.5W charging available through standard Qi-based wireless chargers.
