At first glance, the Tecno Phantom 9 sports a 3D nano-holographic line design with a dual-tone gradient finish back panel. It measuring 158.5 x 75.3 x 7.9 mm dimension, hence, the slim but firm body. The Phantom 9 sports a durable premium gorilla glass material which makes it look stupendous.
It weighs 164 grams and measures 7.5mm that makes it altogether thin to hold and easy to handle. It also sport curved edges around the corners with the sleek back cover you get a better hold of the device.

Tecno Phantom 9 Display
The Phantom 9 features a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED display, which has a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. It comes with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 80.4% screen-to-body ratio which allows for a full body display. There is a 600 nit screen brightness, 100000:1 Contrast There is also a display color up to 16 million which gives the device a colorful and bright.
The Phone also comes featuring the trending U-shaped notch cut-out punch-hole design on the right side of the full screen display. This display is called the water drop or notch display. The Notch accommodates the front camera. This makes the screen much more attractive and Full screen enabled. The punch hole is seen even on Samsung Galaxy latest phones. The display also has a built-in on-screen fingerprint sensor, which places your security right in front of you; the first of it kind from Tecno Mobility.

One of the selling point of the Tecno Phantom 9 is the camera setup. It comes with a triple camera setup which consist of a 16-megapixel primary camera with quad-LED and PDAF and f/1.8 aperture; a second 8-megapixel camera for ultra wide angle shooter and a third 2-megapixel depth sensor whic helps the device capture images with professional-looking bokeh effect where the background is smoothly blurred. It also features LED flash, HDR, panorama for perfect picture.
On the frontal, you are getting a single 32-megapixel selfie camera with a uniquely placed dual-LED flashs just on the bezels above the display.

Under the hood, the Tecno Phantom 9 runs on an Octa-core MediaTek MT6765 Helio P35 SoC clocked at 2.35 GHz. This is a power efficient CPU built on a 12nm architecture, and optimized for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology. It is integrated with PowerVR GE8322 GPU which helps produces and optimum performance with less power consumption.

The Tecno Phantom 9 runs on the Android 9.0 (Pie) which is google latest OS version which is a fast and user-friendly. To complement this, the device comes with 6GB RAM and internal memory storage of 128GB options allowing you to get a rather beefed-up phone.
