Earlier on the 21 of November, Honor quietly announced the Honor 10 Lite. This newly released smartphone is aimed at the younger audience, the handset features mid-tier specs paired with a flashy design that should captivate customers at a slight glance. Just as the name suggests, the newly introduced smartphone is a toned-down variant of the Honor 10 launched earlier this year.
Honor 10 Lite aka Honor 10 Youth Edition features 6.21-inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display, with a 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution resulting in a pixel density of 401 PPI per pixel density. This smart device comes with 19:9 aspect ratio and about 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D curved glass. It also features a display colour up to 16 million which gives the device a colorful and bright display. It isn’t quite flagship-level quality, but it’s still a better phone than other mid-tier smartphones.
The Honor 10 lite sports a dual-camera setup on the back, with a 13-megapixel colour sensor f/1.8 sensor with a 2-megapixel camera sensor. While Huawei focuses more on the selfie lovers with a higher camera pixel compare to the back camera, featuring an AI-powered 24 -megapixel camera, which takes decent snaps in good light, and even in our lower-light office space.
Honor 10 Lite is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset which makes the device work faster and smoother than devices of its range. The Kirin 710 is Huawei’s first 12nm chipset that offers significant improvement in power consumption and performance. In terms of performance, the Kirin 710’s single-core performance is said to be 75% higher than that of the Kirin 659 while for multi-core performance, it offers a 68% increase in performance.
This powerful chipset coupled with octa-core 1.7GHz ARM Cortex-A53 and Mali G51 MP4 graphics helps produces an optimum performance with less power consumption & more which helps the device to work very fast.
Honor 10 Lite was launched with the company’s own EMUI ROM version 9.0.1, coupled with Android OS version 9.0 (pie) which is the latest, fastest and a user-friendly Android version which helps sustain the battery capacity of the device as well as the operation and it also includes practical features such as an integrated Avast virus scanner. The Android version helps sport features like Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness and Android Dashboard on box.
Honor 10 Lite comes in two varies one features a 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the other sports a 128GB Internal storage and a RAM of 6GB and can be expanded up to 256GB through the use of microSD card, which is enough to save documents as well as download videos and music.
Honor 10 Lite is powered by Li-Po 3400 Non- removable battery which will keep the user busy for at least 10 hours for watching videos and surfing the internet and thanks to the OS and processor the device does not drain the battery fast.
