HMD Global, the official licence of Nokia smartphones, has partnered with Servify to offer customised insurance plans for Nokia smartphones. Although smartphones comes with one year limited warranty, the company says that these plans will help consumer safeguard against risks that are typically beyond the purview of the standard warranty such as liquid damage and screen replacement. The insurance plans start from Rs. 399 and help safeguard against risks that are beyond the scope of the standard warranty.
Nokia smartphone owners can choose from three types of insurance plans that provide 12-month cover. In the first plan, accident and liquid damage protection are offered. The second plan is the screen protection plan and both plans are available for purchase within 15 days of purchase of the smartphone. The third plan offers extended warranty and is available for purchase 365 days from the initial purchase date.

Nokia 1-year accident and liquid damage protection plan is priced between Rs. 549 and Rs. 1549 (2800-7900)and covers accidental damage, liquid damage and damage due to fire, lighting, riots and ‘other acts of Gods perils.
Nokia 1-year screen protection plan is priced between Rs. 449 to Rs. 1099 (2300- 5600) and covers accidental damage, damage due to fire, lightning, riots and other acts of God perils.
Nokia 1-year extended warranty plan is priced between Rs. 399 and Rs. 1129(2030- 5800). The plan covers defects and unexpected mechanical or electrical breakdowns after the expiry of the device’s original manufacturer’s warranty.
