Oppo has announced the latest phone in its increasingly diversified Reno range of flagship phones, the Reno Ace. The Oppo Reno Ace was launch on October 10 touting a Snapdragon 855 Plus, 90Hz display and up to 12GB of RAM. This new device is Oppo’s most high-end device with features good enough to compete other flagship devices.

Oppo Reno Ace review
Featuring a widescreen with HD+ resolution gives a nice visual experience. The robust configuration with a healthy battery back up can support to play a game without any disturbance. Also, users can enjoy clicking pictures all through the day by the cameras. It is also provided with huge storage that can store a lot of data. Overall, the device is a perfect choice in this price bracket.
Design/ Display
Oppo Reno Ace is a robust sleek uni-body design with edge to edge curved glass body. It features an aluminum frame design with Gorilla Glass 6 as the Front glass and Gorilla Glass 5 for the back glass, thus, offering an improved durability for comfortable grip without compromising on style.
Featuring Super AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixel resulting to 405PPi per desity. The Oppo Reno Ace measures a dimension of 161 x 75.7 x 8.7 mm, hence, the pleasant feel at hand and alluring look to the eyes. It also comes with a 135Hz touch sampling rate and 90Hz refresh rate.
At first glance, this new Oppo smartphone looks similar to the latest Samsung A series. It comes with the trending hole-punch design which accommodate the front facing camera.
Oppo Reno Ace features an edge-to-edge look with a 83.7% screen-to-body ratio which allows the display to stretches from top to bottom. The phone pixels spilled over the curved edges at the sides, giving no room for big bezels on the flagship smartphone.
Oppo Reno Ace features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio. This screen produces display color up to 16 million which gives the device a colorful and bright. It also comes with the underdisplay fingerprint sensor.
Camera
As for the cameras, the Reno Ace will feature a rear quad camera setup.. This consist of (wide) 48-megapixel primary camera, a Sony IMX586 sensor with an f/1.7 aperture; a second (telephoto) 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture; a third (ultrawide) 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a fourth 2-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It comes with features which includes, HDR, panorama, and Dual-LED flash for clearer shot even in low lightening condition. The Reno Ace also comes with a 16MP front camera for selfie lovers with HDR features.

Under the hood, Oppo Reno Ace’s powered by Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855+ SOC chipset. The chipset is built on the modern 17nm processor. It is also supported by an Octa-core CPU ticking at 2.9 GHz Kryo 485 processor. For the device graphics, Adreno 640 controls the duty which helps produces and optimum performance with less power consumption.
Operating System
Oppo Reno Ace runs on the Android 9.0 (Pie) which can be upgraded to Android 10 later on. It is backed up by ColorOS 6.1 user interface which allows for better user experience and easy multitasking.
The Interface enable the device easier,and clearer to operate. It also uses softer colors and slightly smaller icons, the swipe-up app drawer, and well segmented settings menu. This interface helps in themes selection and customization options making it easier on the eyes and colorful in every right sense.

Oppo Reno Ace comes in four different storage variant. This consist of the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, 256GB ROM + 8GB RAM, 256GB ROM + 12GB RAM and lastly, 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage space. The Internal memory can be expanded up to 256 GB with the use of microSD card slot.
Battery
The Ace’s truly unique feature is its breakthrough fast charging. Oppo Rono Ace is power by a dual-cell battery. The 4000mAh battery Li-Po Non- removable battery can be charged from 0 to 100 percent in 30 minutes, according to Oppo. Reno Ace also supports 65W Super VOOC fast charging technology which is the fastest mobile charging solution yet. The Reno Ace also support both USB-C Power Delivery and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge at 18W.
The Oppo Reno Ace is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. it also come with Dual WiFi support.
