Samsung unveils a new galaxy series. The Galaxy M series is a budget friendly series launched with the intention of conquering challengers dominating the budget segment phones in the market.

The Samsung’s Galaxy M series will come with what Samsung called an ‘Infinity V notch display’. These will be the first Samsung phones to sport a notched style display, which is a clear departure from the company’s earlier policy. The displays will likely have reduced bezels on the side. An FCC listing has also confirmed the presence of a notch, according to reports.
Samsung is expected to launch a total of three phones in the Galaxy M series, which are the Galaxy M10 , Galaxy M20 and a Galaxy M30 variant. However, the Galaxy M10 and M20 are expected in India first, and a support page mentions the model number SM-M105F/DS variant for the Galaxy M10 on the company’s India website.
The Samsung Galaxy M10, Samsung Galaxy M20, and Samsung Galaxy M30 have been subjected to a lot of leaks and rumours. A report by news agency IANS, stated that Samsung will be targeting millennial with these devices.

According to leaks, the Galaxy M10 was rumoured to sport a 6.02-inch Infinity-V display as well as a 8MP front camera with LED flash, 13Mp rear camera and it could be powered by the octa-core Exynos 7870 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz coupled with a 3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of inbuilt storage. The whole package is expected to be backed by a 3,400mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy M20, on the other hand, is expected to sport a 6.13-inch Infinity-V display while it might be powered by the octa-core Exynos 7885 processor backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage. For optics, there could be an 8-megapixel selfie while at the rear, there can be a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup. The Galaxy M20 might also include a 5000mAh battery while it will run Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung’s own skin on top.
Last but not the least, the Samsung Galaxy M30 is expected to come with a Galaxy M20 Infinity-V display while it might be powered by the octa-core Exynos 7885 processor backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage. For optics, there could be a 16-megapixel selfie while at the rear, there can be a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 5-megapixel triple camera setup. The Galaxy M30 might also include a 5000mAh battery.
Unfortunately, this new series device sport the far long gone micro USB compare to the trending USB-C popularly used in the mobile market, however, this budget device is a way forward into the middle mobile market and a good one at that.
