Samsung just announced its new mid-range phones, the Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8 Plus (2018).
In 2017, Samsung released upgraded its A- series devices comprising of the A3, A5 and the A7, i call these phones flagship like devices due to the fact that even though they are mid-range devices they come with the specification of Flagship phones. Finally a Replacement of the 2017 Galaxy A lineup is out, the Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8 Plus feature attractive specs and a design that is inspired by the Galaxy S series. The coolest feature is the dual front cameras, which feature f 1.9 lenses and portrait mode. Both devices feature Infinity Displays, IP68-certified dust and water resistance.
Samsung will start selling both the models in early January 2018, and for now has not provided official pricing.

Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+ (2018) is the latest of the A-series upgrade device, though when the first A series device was launched in 2015 we thought it was only for an experiment on how metal phones are going to look like because it was the first metal smartphone Samsung designed, or just experiment for the S-Series.

A8 and A8 plus (2018) are both strong devices packed with great and eye-catching specifications filling up the specification that is only seen in a flagship device, this A8 variants has surpassed their predecessor in so many ways. Samsung designed this phones to look so much like the 2017 flagship phone “Samsung Galaxy S8” with IP68 dust and water resistance, a metal frame and curved glass on the back,but don’t be confuse and deceive they are different. This two A8 variant comes with almost the same specifictaions with little difference differentiating them from each other.

Samsung A8 is an all metal and curved-glass device which features a 5.6-inch display screen while the A8 plus sports a 6-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels super AMOLED Infinity Display with a super-widescreen 18.5:9 aspect ratio and an always-on display features, so you can see the time,date and your notifications without unlocking your device everytime . With bezel-less design being the new trend in Smartphones, this phone boasts a thin groove and slim bezels and there is a curved glass protection on top of the Infinity Display panels, identical to the ones featured on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ with a fingerprint Sensor for quick access to the phone and the same time for protection.

Samsung has provided two front-facing camera sensors on the Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) to persuade the selfie-taking youth. There is a 16-megapixel fixed focus, f/1.9 camera sensor and an 8-megapixel f/1.9 sensor. Both the sensors provide users with the option to either have a blurred background to create a bokeh effect on their selfies or have a clear and crisp background as well as a focused foreground. Also, there is a pre-installed Live Focus feature that helps users to adjust the Bokeh effect even after capturing the self-portraits. In addition to the dual camera setup, the smartphones have a 16-megapixel camera sensor on the back with an f/1.7 lens. The rear camera sensor supports video digital image stabilisation (VDis) technology and has features such as hyperlapse and a Food mode.
