Nokia X5 (5.1 Plus) Set To Be Announced Today with Notch Display

The Finnish multinational company is back again with the upgraded version of the trio Nokia Smartphone devices it launched last year. After the global sales of the last year device, HMD Global deem it fit to upgrade the mid-range devices to bring some of the more premium phone aspects down to more affordable price points.

Nokia X5 press photos leaked out ahead of July 11 reveal

After the release of the latest and newest Nokia handsets, the Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 2.1, the HMD has once again announced the release of  the Nokia X5 which is the plus version of the Nokia 5.1. The Nokia X5 is going to be unveiled today July 11 at 5:30 PM (8 PM in China) with trending specifications.

The Nokia X5 is expected to feature a 5.9-inch display with small or no bezels display, the mid-range handset is said to pack an octa-core MediaTek processor, as well as 3, 4 or 6 GB RAM, coupled with either 32 or 64 GB storage. Nokia X5 or Nokia 5.1 Plus is expected to sport vertically stacked dual rear cameras, a combination of a 13MP+5MP lens. Below the rear camera lens and LED flash unit, will be a circular fingerprint sensor followed by Nokia branding. The front camera sensor on Nokia X5 will be embedded in the notch. The handset is expected to run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Though all the above-stated specifications and images are rumoured, Luckily, we don’t have to wait long for the official release, as Nokia is set to announce the truth about this flagship device will be unveiled today.
