Infinix mobility popularly known in the smartphone market for its range of featured and mid-range phone has added TV to its catalogue.

The Chinese based company announced the launch of its first smart TV “Infinix TV S1” as the world’s first TV with ultra-high level of interaction with smartphones.

Design

At first view, it is no doubt that the Infinix S1 TV is a beautiful piece. According to the company this TV sport a frameless design which allows every picture to spread across the screen without hindrance.

Although, the smart TV is refers to as a frameless TV, it comes with bezels around the screen that are 2mm wide and at the bottom a 3.2mm bezel. On the bottom bezel however is the company’s logo which is tiny enough to be omitted at first glance.

Infinix TV S1 features an aluminium boďy with plastic stand and mainboard cover which makes the TV unique with elegant looks. It also comes with two wide stand positioned at the edge of the TV and a flat rear panel to allow for wall mounting. Furthermore, at the sides of the TV sits two channel of 10 watt full range audio speakers for immersive woofing sound experience.

In addition, the back of the TV host 2 USB 2.0 ports,  2 HDMI ports, 1 AV in port, 1 RJ45 LAN port and more. However, unlike the smaller screen the 55-inches comes with 3 HDMI ports.

Display

 Thanks to the two display screen option, the Infinix TV S1 comes with two different display features.

Infinix TV S1 43-inches which is the base screen size is built on the FHD display panel with a 1080 x 1920 resolution pixel, while the 55-inches screen sports a 4K display (2160 x 3840) UHD resolution and an infinite contrast ratio, thus promising an immersive viewing experience.

Similarly, the 55- inches screen offers brightness up to 300nits while the 43-inch promises up to 250 nits, however, both model nit enhance a clearer display with crisp and vivid picture quality.

However, both Infinix TV S1 screen support a great HDR quality which offer a wide color gamut, resulting in deeper, richer colors with content that supports it. Thanks to the HDR support this TV will provides a much brighter image with a higher level of contrast between light and dark areas on the screen.

This Infinix Smart TV also offers a wide viewing angle which gives access to an extraordinary details and intense color, thus, allows you to view your TV colour and brightness up to 178 degrees.

The Infinix TV S1 series also offers 60Hz frame rate which is 2x faster than an old 30Hz TV. This allow viewers to enjoy a smoother motion and more detail in movement without blur.

Similarly, this smart TV supports the Infinix Life APP on your smartphone which allows your Infinix smartphone. This app is popularly know as a Health & Fitness App to record data related to steps, sleep, heart, sports and etc., so as to let you view a complete history of your health statistics. However, Infinix is making known that this app which is already pre-installed on most infinix smartphone also allows you to use your phone as a remote control, and share data via Wi-Fi,or hotspot.
