Infinix mobility announced its latest member of the Note series. On the 24th of June, Infinix Mobility launched the Infinix Note 5 in partnership with Google at the Burj Khalifat building in Dubai.

The Note 5 is an update to last year’s Note 4 smartphone, Note 4 Pro and one of the most anticipated smartphones from Infinix this year. Although Infinix already has released two devices this year, the Infinix Hot S3, Hot S3 Pro,  Hot 6 and Hot 6 Pro with full view display and Snapdragon processors, however, the Note 5 is more than we anticipated, it comes featuring the best of all specifications and a pocket-friendly price.

This year’s Infinix Note is all about the software. The device proudly hails from the Android One program, which means that the software comes directly from Google. The Android enthusiast will be excited by how pure the Android 8.1 Oreo software on the Note 5 is. The software comes in all it’s pixel-like glory, right down to the Google animation when you press the virtual home button.

The phone is however not only about the software though it focuses more on it, Infinix note 5  comes with a bigger and sharper display size when compared to it’s predecessor, Infinix Note 4. The stylus pen is only included on the Pro version – Infinix Note 5 Pro. The Note 5 Pro (or Note 5 Stylus) hides its x-pen inside the body, something like what we see on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

  1. Review is great. No face ID, I didn’t see that coming… It’s awesome that it’s N61,300 while my Note 4 Pro was N71,500 officially though I got it N73,000. I like the curved screen. No dual flash like the Note 4 Pro. But there is the OS 8.1 and the Google exclusive functions now on the device. Can’t wait to see a review on the Pro version. Again, the review is very insightful. Thanks so much
