MTN, Airtel, Glo, Etisalat Networks in Nigeria now allows their subscribers to borrow credits and pay later. The service tends to be a life saver if you happen to find yourself in a situation where you need to call someone urgently and there is no means of recharging around you. To borrow credit from all these telecommunication networks simply follow the steps below.

How to borrow airtime from MTN

The Service is available to prepaid customers who meets an unspecified tenure on the network, and recharge at least N500 monthly. follow the  steps below:

Step 1: Dial *606# then use the menu that will display check if you’re eligible. But , this services attract 10% charge of what you are requesting for. That is, if you request for N200 credit, your line will be credited with N180 while N20 goes to MTN as their service charge.

Step 2: Dial *606# again then use the menu that will display request for the airtime you want to borrow. Any amount can be displayed ranging from N50 which is the lowest you can borrow.

How to borrow airtime from Airtel

You need to have been a loyal and consistent subscriber on Airtel for at least 3 months and must load a minimum of N250 monthly before you can borrow airtime from Airtel.

To borrow airtime from Airtel, simply dial *500*amount you want to borrow#. For example, dial *500*200# to borrow N200.

The amount you’ll receive is less 10% service charge. That is, if you request for N200 credit, your phone will be credited with N180 while N20 goes to Airtel as their service charge.

How to borrow airtime from Glo

Glo allows you to borrow up to the highest amount you’ve recharged. You need to have been a loyal and consistent subscriber on Glo for at least 4 months before you can borrow airtime from Glo.

To borrow airtime from Glo, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Create a 4 digits pin. On your Glo line, dial *321# then create a 4 digit pin of your choice e.g 1991

Step 2: Borrow the airtime. Dial *321*pin*amount you want to borrow#. E.g *321*4535*200#.

The amount you’ll receive is less 10% service charge. That is, if you request for N200 credit, your phone will be credited with N180 while N20 goes to Glo as their service charge.

How to borrow airtime from Etisalat

To borrow credit from Etisalat, you need to have recharged up to N900.

Simply Dial *665*amount#. For example if you want to borrow N200, just dial *665*200# and instantly your account will be credited with N180. The remaining N20 (10% of the borrowed amount) goes to Etisalat as their service charge.
